Campaign Copywriting

In 2019, retail liquor giant Alcanna and future cannabis behemoth Aurora teamed up to launch Nova Cannabis retail stores across Canada. While the rules around advertising cannabis stores were still being ironed out, I was asked to write a billboard campaign that would run in cities and towns where new stores had opened. Are the rules hard to navigate? YES. Fortunately, I was designed in a military lab for the sole purpose of writing the world’s most subtle jokes. Mission accomplished, returning to base.
