Constant readers might know that I participate in a weekly typographic showcase at Veer called Kerned Events, where we create type samples inspired by current event headlines. My turn is on Wednesdays. From now on, I'll be simul-posting mine here every week, but only if they're good. If they're not good, I'll just sit in a corner and cry and eat crackers.
This week I chose the article Doomsday Clock Moved Back One Minute. I'ts good news, if you ignore that the harbinger timepiece is still saying we are minutes from global annhilation. And for bonus fun-points, I chose three fonts that pun on the theme: Appointment With Danger & Anytime Now by Device and Recovery by TypeTrust.
